The Amy Winehouse Foundation, set up by Amy’s father Mitch, launches tomorrow, on what would have been singer's 28th birthday (I still can’t believe she’s gone).

Ray-Ban Colorize at Selfridges

I have a larger-than-average nose and when I wear Ray-Bans I tend to look like something from a joke shop. Was this enough to keep me away from their launch party? Hell no. I went, I wore, I conquered. I (and most of my friends) got the money shot of Winehouse. Selfridges hosted an exhibition of 10 guitars 'colorized' for Ray-Ban by contemporary music and design talent.


In between casually stalking 'Blamy' (Blake Wood and Amy Winehouse), avoiding burly bodyguards and shoving Jelly Belly into my gob, I watched Esser perform and heard Mystery Jets DJ.

Sight of the night? Coming out of the loo and catching Amy stumbling around rich mum's favourite flowery concession, Cath Kidston. Incredible.

The Ray-Ban exhibition runs in Selfridges' Ultralounge from now until the 22nd March.
