Party of the Week

PPQ’s party on New Oxford Street was far too cramped, Henry Holland’s Duke Street knees up was fun but casual but Mulberry’s Kensington Palace party was just right. The venue was ideal for a collection inspired by royals behaving badly; I doubt any of the occasions held there previously could have touched Mulberry’s elegant yet fabulously raucous soiree.

Hosted by Emma Hill and Alexa Chung, the venue was still decked out with glittery leopards and looked stunning. It was plenty large enough to accommodate the celebrity-studded crowd comfortably. We drank enough beer and tequila to sedate any jungle animal, ate all the (steak and mushroom) pies and listened to live music by Delphic.

It was a great turnout from the celebrity ladies with Matthew Horne as the exception! Guests included: Pixie Geldof, Jade Parfitt, Jasmine Guinness, Nicola Roberts, Tolula Adeyemi, Josephine De La Baume, Jo Wood, Amelle, Ben Grimes, Olivia Palmero, Caroline Sieber, Rachel Stevens, Sophia Hesketh, Liberty Ross, Amber Le Bon and Kaya Scodelario all helped them to celebrate.
