Diamond Dust - A Girl's Best Friend

label.m is constantly innovating and releasing new ways to keep our hair looking its shiny best. And what are really, really shiny? Diamonds! Their new Diamond Dust range has an exclusive Micro-Diamond complex; with real black diamonds and white diamonds, pearl dust, champagne and white rose petal oil. Luxe. It makes my hair feel so smooth and I really love the smell, it reminds me a little of one of my favourite perfumes – Narciso Rodriguez Essence. It’s free from sulphates and parabens too. Just one gripe: the formula is so thick and rich that it can be quite hard to get out of the bottle. I squeeze tightly and persevere for the luxurious shower experience that follows.

I was kind of surprised to see a body lotion in the range – I thought the brand only did haircare and I had to read the tube a few times before eventually confirming that yes, it’s definitely for my bod and not my locks. Saying that, it’s all I can do to remember my pants when I go to the gym in the morning, so I have actually used a teeny bit of the body lotion instead of hair serum before. It makes your hair look really shiny because of the tiny flecks of shimmer.

At the moment, you get a free Jean-Pierre Braganza tote bag when you buy three label.m products.

‘Me Day’ with Headmasters

I love getting my hair done - a quick refresh has the power to make you feel like a better, bouncier, shinier version of yourself. Unfortunately, a trip to the hairdressers can also feel like bad news for your bank account. UK franchise ‘Headmasters’ recognises the importance of ‘quality, luxury and affordable hairdressing.  Their dedication to ‘confidence-boosting hair’ has won my loyalty for my past three haircuts.

Post-holiday, my sun-bleached locks could do with a treat. Headmasters offers a ‘Me Day’ offer where you can get a wash, cut, half-head of highlights (or balayage) and blowdry for the not-so-princely sum of £89.

I chose the Soho branch for my appointment.

Kieran had cut my hair there before (excellently) but wasn’t available, so I had Siân, their Colour Expert. After too many hours spent on Pinterest, I had deduced that I wanted a choppy long(ish) bob with enhanced blonde bits. We collaborated on some ideas before settling on the perfect hair plan.

Siân delivered on every level, whipping my locks into a wonderfully undone, natural-looking style. The team in Soho is great fun, and the hours sped by as we laughed and chatted together.

Great cut, lovely colour and happy vibes without too much expense – what more could you ask for? They really are Headmasters.
