Excitingly, Guess are launching a competition tomorrow to find a global blogger extraordinaire. The lucky winner will blog for Guess Access (on guesswatches.com) for a year and have their voice heard around the world. If the chosen one is also a student, their school fees will also be paid.

You can enter the competition via the GUESS Watches Facebook page tomorrow – but in the meantime, use the link below for exclusive access; you can enter first! Here’s how to do it:

2-Sign into your facebook account
3-Click ‘Enter’

Create a style board and get as many votes as possible! This part of the competition will last 30 days from 1st May and will then be narrowed down to a top 10 based on votes.

Good luck!

Colour Combo

I know they shouldn’t work but I love red and pink (oh, and golden beer).

Bastyan Autumn/Winter Press Day

I went along to the Bastyan AW press day yesterday. Held at the Cavendish Club, it showcased pieces from the brand’s upcoming autumn/winter collection. One thing I love about Bastyan is that instead of clouding their collections with a myriad of clashing prints and colours (calm it down, high street!), they do a concise, considered range of knockout dresses and sophisticated separates. I know I say it every season but I really feel that this collection is their best yet. Gorgeous, textural coats and winter-friendly wool hung next to head-turning cocktail dresses with subtle twists. Prints appeared in measured doses. My favourite patterned piece was a shirt with birds (I’m a sucker for a good animal print).

After having a good nosy through the collection, I got chatting to Emma about the exclusive ‘Bastyan Society’ which sounds very intriguing. I will be joining. Find out more about it and sign up here.

Loved this dress - a real head-turner

Friday Maths

Yes, I’m 26 and I still need the difference between circumference and diameter explaining to me. Oh dear.

Thai Nails

Love the paisley design of these nails. My friend Flo had them done in Thailand.

Mani Madness

Whenever I go for a manicure, I look at the salon’s nail varnish collection and think; “Mine could rival that.” It was only a matter of time until I found a storage unit suitable. My Dad came over last weekend and made it happen. Might need a bigger one now my housemate Laurel has added her collection to the mix!

Broken Leopard

Love eBay, hate when things get broken in the post. Not a major problem though and I love my new leopard pic too much to send it back!

Old School

Watching old family vids is a lovely, nostalgic thing to do. I sat back with a chai last night and had a proper giggle. Can’t believe my career as a newsreader/Spice Girls tribute act didn’t work out. Shocker.

Jo Hansford New Salon Launch

I went along to the launch of Jo Hansford’s new Mayfair (48 South Audley Street, to be precise) hair salon last night. Known as the ‘Queen of Colour’, Hansford (OBE) counts Nigella Lawson and Sienna Miller as loyal clients. I tried the new Jo Hansford ‘Illuminator’ hair oil this morning. It’s great! Smells like pomegranate.
All of the salon staff are trained by Jo Hansford herself. I’m going here for my highlights from now on.
