Swarovski Edition

I am obsessed with this collectable, hardback copy of Elle my lovely friend Rocio gave me in Madrid. It is soo sparkly and beautiful - The Elle header is actually studded with real crystals and I love it. I think there were 3 alternative versions too but don't think British Elle made any...but I think they should! Could everything please come covered in Swarovski?

A Handy Look

Isn't this photo incredible? I was staring at it for about half an hour. I found it in quite a rubbish tourist guide book. She looks a bit like Florence and the Machine,, I really want to have a go at doing this but think I will need a model to do a good job. Any volunteers?!

El Corte Ingles

El Corte Ingles is the main place to shop in Madrid. Much like Selfridges here in London, all of the biggest designer names can be found there and, as you can see from these photos of the windows, this is a place that also treats fashion like art and shopping like a really exciting, theatrical experience.
