Summer Styling: the 70's

I recently had a shag.

Not THAT, smutty, I had a haircut, 'the shag'.

I love it - it makes me feel all Freja Beha Ericsson and 70's and that. But there is a problem: my clothes don't match my image anymore, they're not retro enough. I think these pieces by New Look, Paige and Monki will help.

My new fave Monki sandals, you need a good, solid heel with any kind of flare.

I think this Monki is so convincing, great for piercing commitment-phobes like me!

Little Black Dress Party

I’ve long been a fan of Little Black Dress – the website is the perfect destination for cocktail and special event dresses. I own two of them – the Diana and the Kate.

I was invited to London’s Café Royale (where I attended their party last year) to see what the new collection had in store. There were some true show-stoppers – one of my favourites was a lace wraparound which I think would be perfect for work drinks with clients.

Miss Great Britain and Alesha Dixon both attended and we enjoyed some drinks and canapés together as we perused the new dresses. A portrait artist was on hand to capture the guests in watercolour.

It was a lovely evening and the website is going to be my number one choice for some new Christmas party dresses.

My best friend Sarah gave me this beautiful Monica Vinader bracelet for my 30^th bracelet, it’s engraved inside. Monica Vinader often offer free engraving which adds a lovely, personal touch to your gifts. I adore this bracelet and rarely take it off. 

Ipanema flip flops

I love these flip flops! The second I slid them on my feet I knew it was love. Aren’t they a pretty colour? My boyfriend has a pair (black, not rose gold) and he’s had them for 10 YEARS. Very promising because I want to wear these forever.

Rosy wishlist: Michael Kors Bradshaw watch

The one I own is actually gold and tortoiseshell but I quite fancy adding a rose gold one to my collection.

Rosywishlist: Calvin Klein necklace

I love the simplicity of this Calvin Klein necklace, available at Ernest Jones. I think it would look great with a strapless dress and tanned shoulders.
