I went to a party to celebrate the new Hotel Verta in Battersea last night. This incredible venue has a helipad right next to it, complete with a discreet entrance for high flyers. The building and interior design reflect the hotel’s location and serve to evoke the ‘glamorous age of aviation.’ Each member of staff was both attentive and charming and the food was utterly delicious (we munched octopus and little quails egg tartlets). Oh it is a hard life I lead. Celebrity guests in attendance included Chris Eubank (looking dapper) and Italian chef Aldo Zilli. I’ll be telling you more about Verta very soon…
