London Fashion Week: Ashish

A self-confessed fashion magpie, I always like Ashish’s shows the best. Sponsored by Coca-Cola, this was one of the best yet. Oversized vests were emblazoned with the brand’s logo and the models carried sequin-covered versions of supermarket carrier bags. No instantly-recognisable brand was left un-pimped! Male and female models shone their way down the catwalk in loose silhouettes. There were stripes, a nice smattering of animal print and rainbow shades featured. Shredded denim got a coating of sequins, making for an interesting contrast between luxury and distressed denim.

In other news, I loved the hair; clip-in extensions were sprayed with horizontal stripes and messily inserted between lightly backcombed lengths. Hair stenciling looks set to become a trend with the leopard-printed lengths and now these stripes featuring. Outlandish Chloe Norgaard hair colouring was rife too. Celeb FROW-er Paloma Faith looked radiant in her glimmering Ashish gown. Ellie Goulding attended.
